CIVA invites you to a conversation between OFFICE Kersten Geers David Van Severen and artist Vincent Meessen, moderated by the researcher and architectural historian Dennis Pohl (TU Delft). The event is conceived as a reflection on the respective perspectives, intentions and expectations of the architectural project Office 119 (Der Bau), which is at the heart of Vincent Meessen’s exhibition After/D’Apres/Na at CIVA. The title of the project denotes a shared history and a form of entanglement. Both a number in a project list (Office 119) and the title of an unfinished short story by Franz Kafka (Der Bau), the project is located in an interstitial zone: between art and architecture.
