Pedal Your Way through ‘Pocket Parks’

Garden Tales and Pro Velo are organizing a family bike ride: Brussels seen from the angle of its new green spaces in the northern districts of Brussels – Schaerbeek, Laeken and Molenbeek. It's an ideal opportunity for the whole family to start pedalling, as this ride will take you through playgrounds that invite young and old alike to relax.

You'll start your ride at the newly renovated Gare Maritime. Then continue your stroll beyond the Canal, with the ‘Pocket Parks’ (micro parks). Here you'll meet the residents who have made these new urban green spaces their own. Whether in the form of vegetable gardens, picnic areas or play and sports areas, what they have in common is that they are places where you simply feel good.

The tour will end at the heart of Tour & Taxis in the superb Parckfarm park, winner of the 2014 Parckdesign festival.
