Productive Frictions

Give young architects camcorders! Through a series of films directed by Jean-Philippe De Visscher, Thierry Kandjee and Jean-Frédéric de Hasque, some twenty architecture students from the UCL-LOCI Saint-Gilles will be screening their proposals to address the contradictions that are destabilising our territories. Based on several case studies in Brussels and around Belgium, each film sets out on the discovery of some form of tension, decodes the reasons for it and invents the means to transform it into positive opportunities.
