The Pavement band - sold out

The street makes noises, strange noises, pretty noises, noises of footsteps, of matter, of silence, of festivities, of wet paving stones and scratchy walls.

During this workshop, we will explore sounds in the city. We use different objects and materials (metal, wood, stone, plastic, etc.) to create orchestral sound improvisations nourished by the sounds and energy of Brussels' streets.

Sirens, laughter, screeching tyres, cooing pigeons, electric motors with sounds from space, heels on cobblestones, I listen to the pavement fanfare. I detach myself from the origins of the sounds to compose an urban symphony, the music of my city, composed with its tunes and its materials.

Workshop In collaboration with Jeunesses Musicales.
