SOFA TALK — Maxime Zaït

Maxime Zaït is one of the driving forces behind Communa, a non-profit organisation that deals with the issue of vacancy in Brussels. Through temporary projects, Communa brings empty buildings to use and offers opportunities to starting organisations. The temporary use allows them to deal with the housing issue in an active way and organise social projects in cooperation with the neighbourhood. Check the Communa website for more info. The Sofa Talks are organised by Gideon Boie and Lieven De Cauter. They are part of the Architecture & Activism seminar (KU Leuven Faculty of Architecture) and hosted by CIVA.
